Due to its high deformability and excellent damping it absorbs torsional vibrations, which are the main cause of mechanical parts breakages.
It reduces the irregularities of motion.
It allows axial and radial displacements, absorbing any slight defects in mounting. Obtained from selected anti oil compound, in which are incorporated metal inserts with through holes, necessary for mounting on shafts, such mounting is achieved by means of two metal flanges mounted at the ends of the above mentioned shafts.
Widely proven, reliable, it is mainly used in marines gears.
